I am currently burning a 50/50 blend of corn and pellets. The corn tends to leave a little more ash residue than what I was expecting but for the most part the even heat flow is much better than I got from the wood burning stove.
Its a lot easier to stack a couple bags of wood pellets and corn than it is to cut, split, stack and restack wood.

What it lacks in aesthetics it more than makes up for in efficiency. It heats our whole downstairs and keeps our upstairs from overheating from the downstairs thermostat working overtime. Uses a 50lb bag of feed corn/day on the weekends, and a bag lasts all week for just evening use.
