Pros:
High Quality Construction, Sturdy, Weather Resistant
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

This is a very nicely made item. It takes about 30 minutes to assemble. It is a very heavy-duty, easy to use product that should last for years.

Not a bad hose reel
By Virginia GardnerVerified Purchaser from Alexandria, Virginia on 8/4/2007
Best Uses:
Outdoor Garden
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Facilitates reeling in the hose. Haven't had it long enough to test durability or weather resistance. Rather large and requires space, but it does hold over 200 feet of hose. If it wasn't so expensive, I would probably buy another.

I have gone through all types of garden hose reels. From the cheapest plastic to the expensive electric wind ups (Don't waste your money). This one is the best. Easy to wind up. It doesn't fall over very stable. Easy to assemble. My 5 year old can real in the hose on her own.

Bought this model and wall-mount -- regret I didn't get two of this one because of the amount of hose it can handle.

Exactly what it said it would be!
By The RootVerified Purchaser from Potomac, MD on 6/22/2007
Pros:
Easy to use, Weather Resistant
Cons:
Tedious to build, Very hard to turn
Best Uses:
Hose capacity, Outdoor Garden
Describe Yourself:
Average Home owner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Directions to assemble very good but was tedious to build. The biggest drawback is that it is very difficult to turn right or left when moving it to another location on the property.

The product was as good as promised!
By BobVerified Purchaser from Moraga, CA on 3/5/2007
Pros:
Durable, Good Value, Not quite as sturdy
Cons:
Control handle flimsy, Expensive, Rear wheels need to turn
Best Uses:
Hose Capacity, Mobility
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I do believe that a great improvement to this unit would be the availability to have the rear wheels turn, rather than having to lift the unit to go in the direction you want. The steering and control handle needs to be made stronger as it moves with the feeling of cheapness and not really secure
