No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The look and function of the lights were great. Unfortunately the wiring in the back of the unit was not correct. The wires were threaded through the wrong holes making a flush fit impossible. We used them anyway and hope that no one looks at the lights closely from the side as you can see the wires. All 8 of the lights we ordered were wired improperly but the look and space saving function of the lights were perfect for our space. The price was right too.
