A beautiful, polished stainless steel lid marks this 5 burner grill as one of the most distinguished around. Delivering superior flavor, outstanding heat retention, and remarkable efficiency, no other grill can match its cooking system. 600 square inches of primary cooking area and 230 square inches of secondary cooking space can accomodate a full three-course meal and more. We are enjoying grilling again with the Vermont Castings Grill. Minimal flare-ups, heats quickly and easy to keep clean. This is by far the best grill I've ever used. I would purchase this product again but with the warranty that Vermont Castings offers, it'll be a while before I need a new grill. Great product.

Service & Delivery comments:

Product was shipped earlier than expected and arrived pretty much on time. A one day delay from the trucking company due to truck availability (needed a special lift truck due to the weight of the grill).

This grill is perfect for serious weekend grilling. We grill almost everyday in the spring and summer. This grill heats up quick and cooks evenly throughout.

The heat has some hot and cold spots but can be overcome after grilling pn it a couple of times.
The drip pan is to small but this minor. The ceramic grills I would prefer Stainless you wouldn't have to worry about scratching them, would be easier to clean.

I like the grills looks and the easy use and care. The Blue protective tape is very difficult to remove and it leaves a residue.

The only "kick" I had with this grill is when I assembled it and installed the batteries, neither the grilling light nor the lighted dials worked. However, the next evening after it had rained (naturally I had forgotten to put on the cover)I discovered the dial lights were on and the cooking light would also come on????? They both work satisfactorily now. Also, the thermometer is off by about 150 degrees on the top end. The grill thermometer reads 600+ degrees but an oven thermometer I set on the upper warming rack only reads 450+ degrees. Other than that I am happy with this grill

By far the best BBQ I have ever used. Tremendous heat for beautiful grill marks. Rear burner cooks rottisery chickens perfectly. I cooked 3 two pounders at once! I recommend "Seasoning" the porcelin grills every couple of uses. I simply spray a veg oil after cleaning.(If you don't do this, chances are the coating will seperate from the cast iron.)Meat dos'nt stick to grill either, if well seasoned. Think of your old cast iron frying pan.You have to oil it or it rusts. Overall this BBQ gives much for the buck, and it comes with everthing...Cover Rottisery etc. I recommend this over weber and broil king by a long shot. Spend the extra, you will not be disappointed!

This is a great grill. In my opinion it is a much better buy than a Weber. More grill surface, more features, and a good looking grill. Easy to use and very little assembly. I highly recommend it.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This grill wasn't cheap - but it grills better than any other grill I have owned. Flash ups are a thing of the past (unless its a leaking Bratwurst or Italian Sausage). Hamburgers cooked until the juices were just sitting on top. The chicken breasts turned out beautifully. You won't char your meat with this grill. Sweet!
