No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I've had this set for two weeks, and I've tried to use it a handful of times. The corn holders were not included in the set, but based on the quality of the rest, I don't think I'm missing anything. The tongs bent out of shape trying to move a five-pound pork shoulder; they wouldn't hold it long enough to flip. The skewers fell apart (the handles separating from the skewer) the first time I used them. This set is worthless.
