I bought this particular style so I could monitor propane levels in cold weather. I have a 28,000 BTU heating element attachment and we use this to warm our softball dugout during cold midwestern spring games. Lasts for about 5 games and warmup periods. Never have to guess if I'm going to run out during the middle of a game!

We bought 2 tanks and assembly quality was not uniform. Also some standard accessories don't fit these tanks. The side opening is much smaller than steel tanks.

I really like that you can monitor the propane level. It has always been difficult to find a product that really accurately tells you how much propane you have left. With this you can actually see how much is there.

Great see through capability to monitor propane level. Also tank is much lighter than standard steel tanks.

I bought it to refill camping propane bottles, for stoves, lanterns, ect. It makes it a lot easier to refill because I can watch what is happening.
