Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
will only keep tempature + or - 2 degrees, so if you set it at 70 it will turn on at 67'ish and turn off at 72'ish. So here is a 4 to 5 degree temp range where you are waiting for it to do some thing. I looked into tech support and they said thats the way it is no way to adjust. there are other models that have a 1 degree range.

Cons:
No overide or hold button, Too large temp swing
Programming technology is very old. Not easy to look at and set an overide temp. Too large of a temperature swing from turn on to shut off, 4 degs., resulting in too large variation in room temp. Would not buy this product again
